The Centre and the team"Medizin Check Mallorca", a facility for early diagnosis and prevention, is part of the "Internationale Facharztzentrum Palma", the biggest outpatient medical centre run by German doctors on the Balearic Islands. At present, the centre comprises 12 different medical fields with permanent representatives. In addition, the centre offers physiotherapy, antenatal and birth assistance, nutrition consultation and personal training. The medical devices are of latest technology. Colour Doppler Sonographic equipment is available for ultrasonic diagnosis, and for endoscopic gastro-intestinal examinations, a vast number of video-endoscopes with automatic cleaning and disinfecting functions. The centre has various x-ray facilities for low-emission x-ray diagnosis, as well as its own laboratory, which normally provides all results within two hours. All results and charts will be electronically filed and can be provided both in paper format and as data carriers. The documents can also be transmitted worldwide via e-mail, internet or fax. The centre has a great situation on the Paseo Maritimo, right opposite the marina and the ferry docks and is accessed easily. |
