- Detailed introductory conversation, medical history as well as establishing
and explaining the individual program
- Thorough internist examination
- Computer-based ultrasonic examination of the stomach organs, in case of male patients including the prostate
- Ultrasonic examination of the thyroid gland
- ECG (electrocardiogram); exercise ECG and resting ECG
- Analysis of the
peripheral
circulation (arteries and veins)
- Lung function tests while resting (Spirometry)
- Blood
analysis
including all clinical chemistry [sugar and fat metabolism, liver and kidney
function, minerals, as well as examination of all risk parameters such
as homocysteine, fibrinogen (
heart attack
risk), thyroid hormones and for
male patients PSA (prostate cancer indicator)]
- Urine and stool
analysis
- Bone densitometry (optional)
- Radiogram of the
chest
organs (heart and lung) - if required
- Colour Doppler ultrasonic examination of the
brain-supplying arteries
- Measurement of the
blood-oxygen saturation
- Detailed concluding conversation on delivery of the results
